Ancient Greek 101

In the opening module of the Introduction to Ancient Greek course you will begin building a sturdy foundation of core knowledge in this language. Although you will begin this module with basics such as the alphabet and the fundamentals of grammar, you will steadily augment your vocabulary and accumulate the tools necessary to start reading extended passages of ancient literature. Along the way, you will develop not only a deeper appreciation of the Greek roots present in English but also an ability to employ your knowledge of Greek grammar as a basis for understanding and discussing the structure of almost any language.
